Contract of Carriage
When you buy a ticket for travel on Seaborne Airlines, you enter into a contract of carriage with us.
Payment
Cash, Travelers Checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express, and Corporate Checks. No personal checks accepted. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Check-In
45 minutes prior to departure. Flights close 20 minutes prior to departure time. Passenger not checked in will lose seats and be placed upon the next available flight - if flights and seats are available.
Baggage
Allowance for each ticketed passenger is 30lbs. Baggage in excess of 30lbs will incur an additional charge of $1.00 per lb and be transported on a space available basis.
No Carry on Bag Policy - Only exceptions are food, cameras (with no case), reading material, wallets, and small baby bags which must be searched by flight crew - total weight must not exceed 5 lbs.
Hazardous Materials
Seaborne is not allowed to carry hazardous materials such as spray paint, paint thinner, 140 and over plus proof spirits, pesticides, lye, and any item that contains compressed gases or flammable fuels and/or oils - even if drained.

Missing or Damaged Articles or Baggage
Preliminary loss or damage must be submitted to Seaborne immediately after arrival of flight for bags and within 24 hours for all other articles. Seaborne is NOT responsible for lost cash - and it should be removed from carry on purses or wallets prior to flight and carried in person. Failure to present such notice within the time period indicated shall exempt Seaborne from any action of liability. Under no circumstances will Seaborne be liable for any special or consequential damages. Total liability for provable direct damages resulting from the loss, delay, or damage to baggage in the custody of Seaborne is limited to an amount equal to the proven value of the property and shall not exceed USD $750.00 per ticketed passenger.
Changes
After ticket is purchased, a $10 fee will be charged for any changes plus difference in applicable fare. Cancellations not made prior to flight or a NO SHOW will result in the passenger being charged the full one way fare and return segment cancelled. Tickets may be re-issued for a $25 fee plus any difference in fare.
Delays
Seaborne shall not be responsible for any failure or delay in operating any flight according to schedule due to causes beyond its control or not caused by its negligence including, but not limited to, acts of God, governmental action, terrorism, weather, bomb threats, mechanical difficulties not caused by negligence, strikes or labor disputes, civil commotion, or hazards or dangers incidental to state of war. Seaborne will not be liable for meals, lodging or incidental expenses for passengers effected by flight cancellations or delay.
Immigration
Each passenger 18 and above must have a government issued picture ID. Proof of age is needed for passengers under 18. (Birth Certificate, School ID, or Passport are accepted). Passengers traveling to Puerto Rico or the British Virgin Islands must have proof of citizenship, a Passport is preferred, and however, an original Birth Certificate is acceptable for U.S. Citizens, as long as it is accompanied by a U.S. issued picture I.D.
Firearms
According to Federal Regulations, anyone carrying a firearm, must declare the firearm upon check-in, complete a Declaration of Armed Individual, and ask for further instructions.
Reservations
To purchase a seat in advance for travel you will need a valid credit or ATH card to hold or pay for your ticket. You may reach reservations at www.seaborneonline.com or by calling 340-773-6442 in the USVI, PR and the BVI and toll free 866-FLY-USVI (866-359-8784). Cash, credit, or ATH card may be used to pay or reserve seats at any Seaborne Check-in counter.
CAUTION: Seaborne operates in a seashore and marine environment and unavoidably, our facilities are often slippery or wet. Passengers are urged to use extreme caution on all docks, ramps, floats, and when entering and exiting aircraft. Please do not hesitate to take extra time or to seek assistance in moving about facilities or on and off our aircraft, as your safety is our highest priority.
